First trip to Seattle and right off I can say I'd like to go back. The city itself is not too big, the buildings are limited with a smaller sprawl around it, not distractive at all...that is if your eyes aren't locked on the two sporting complexes (baseball and football stadium) side-by-side that are part of the cityscape ( Read more... )

In a couple of days we're getting a package from Nielsen Media Research, the company that provides the statistics and ratings for television in the US. It should be fun. We're off to Seattle this arvo wheeeeeeee!!!

Even though it has taken 3 FFVII games in 3 states in 2 countries, 1 PS1 and 2 PS2's on 2 formats (PAL & NTSC).....after 8 years I have finally completed the game.

Tonight we hit the town for the Burnt Out Bartender party, which is when the bar staff don't do any work and regular people (patrons) serve all the drinks and stuff. Spent a week in Calgary, Canada. It was fairly uneventful beyond the LASIK (some funky laser eye surgery) on Patrick's eyes and a game of Hockey where the Calgary Hitmen (the team I/we (Pat's a convert in the making perhaps) follow with no NHL being played) kicked butt (yay!). Footy (Australian Rules Football) starts on US and Canadian cable TV again as of this Friday on Fox Soccer Channel. I believe it starts at 2am Eastern, which is midnight for me.
