Oh, 8 year olds...
One of my favorite animes of all time will always be Rurouni Kenshin. That being said, it's an old anime and there are pretty much zero goods out there for it anymore, unless you stumble upon something in a used toy store. And even then, your chances are slim to none.
So.
I almost bought this on principle.
But I'm not that into figures, so I didn't. Haha. But I had to take a picture, at the very least.
I found this in a craft store.

My 8 year old bilingual student wrote her name on the board the other day, along with her friend's, and right next to them she wrote their age as well. She then wrote my name on the board, the counter for age (さい) and stood there thinking. I thought, haha, this oughta be good, and watched her. This is what she wrote:
