TIRRRAAAAMMIIISSSSUUUUU!!! *drools on keyboard* ~ ahem... I agree with Hiroyo, no Japanese man could handle you (and I mean that in the sense that you would make him get his own sandwich). ~ Is it bad that I think you should talk to your manager in fast, insulting English? Maybe on your last day you should consider it. ;] ~ Antique looks awesome. I <3 Alice themed places. ~ I had a Sapporo beer the other day, it was quite tasty.
I have deeply and intensely considered speaking at her in very fast and rude English laced thoroughly with slang so that she cannot understand anything aside from my tone of displeasure. In other words, if it's bad, then we're both doomed; but I figure after some of the fanfic we've read, that's already a given. OTL
We will definitely have to have Japanese-beer drinking nights upon my return.
This post made me smile... I love the whole idea of Antique!!! Can we open a shop like it when you get home? We can theme the whole thing as Alice and Wonderland... and we will host kid-themed un-birthday celebrations daily. my goodness... i'm getting excited just typing this.
P.s. I wrote down the address for your school. Next care package... delivered there. Sorry for the hassle!!!!! P.s. if you meet a man, I hope hi is like Yoshi, my Japanese TA. He would have to be from Japan, but raised through adulthood in the states, but returned to Japan for professional career and.... that is when you will meet him. I agree with Chelsea--he can make his own sandwich.
Can we open an Alice bread shop/cafe upon my return? Seriously, I'm not even joking. I shall coerce my friend into working part-time as our Alice (although I think it won't take much convincing, haha). Our workers can dress up in costumes as well.
And don't worry about the package. It was my fault and not that big of a deal. I will actually go to the post office tomorrow to get what I am %96 percent sure is your package. I will let you know upon receiving it. :D
Comments like this make me lose faith in humanity, Megan. It's not right. Don't say things like that. I MIGHT START CRYING.
Although you are completely correct re: Mr. Donut, though I can't comment on the deliciousness of the iced coffee, given that coffee is the bane of my existence. (I wish I liked coffee; it would make staying awake at work so much easier than green tea does, and there is nearly ALWAYS a pot of coffee brewing in my section, which smells nice.) In any case, I will take your word for it!
I love those cherry blossom pictures, btw; they are SUPER PRETTY ♥
I'm hoping I can go with the hosto fam once birthdays start happening, but we'll see. At the very least, I hope I can go on MY birthday. It isn't really a restaurant I can go to by myself. OTL
I wished you liked coffee, too. Your world would open up like a flower in bloom during spring, the petals of delicious flavors and aromas unfurling delicately as you came to realize how much variety coffee has to offer.

YEAH NO THAT'S TEA. You just described tea. And I'm not talking, "that's how I would metaphorically describe my love for tea", no -- I mean, LITERALLY, YOU JUST DESCRIBED TEA.
Although, ignoring the grossly misplaced metaphor, you are totally right -- there are SO MANY FLAVORS OF DELICIOUSNESS that I am missing. Especially considering that in my world, the only good tea is mildly bitter tea, so I can't even embrace the sickeningly sweet kinds that American thrives in making.
Dude, I would honestly consider going UA from work and flying out to Japan JUST to go to Marino's with you on your birthday. No lie. ♥ (......if it helps, it's at least 75% because I love you, not just because its Marino's.)
