Opinion time. Best answer gets 15 points

Cable is suppose to be the world savior. Do you think he is qualified for it? Based on his past and present actions (like forming the merc group X-force and Six Pack to having his own island sanctuary and now leading a new country) what do you think?

In one sense, yes. He did defeat Apocalypse. So, yes he is the savior of the world. He is also an awesome mutant. Son of Cyclops and a Jean Grey clone, and given unbelievable powers. If only he didn't have that damn techno-virus...his powers would go through the roof. Ans even with the techno-virus in him, he still is able to beat one of the most powerful mutants of all time. He is a master marksmen with telekinesis and the ability to teleport.

And let's not forget about the eye. The glowing spark that is randomly generated and makes him look like an even more badass than he already is.

So to answer the question...yes, he is more than qualified. All of his reasons for what he did had a generally good purpose in mind. He just went about it in a fashion that most people disagreed with.

OK, let us analyze this question from a slightly realistic question. Although Cable surely has done some questionable things, such as having his own island sanctuary and leading a new country, he still has shown to be one of the more faithful heroes when dealing with actions dealing with improving conditions for both humans and mutants ( ... )

No, Cable is stupid and doesn't have any unique powers of any kind. His fancy virus of his is just a convenient way to suck and not get blamed for anything. He can never live up to the awesomeness of Cyclops and can't even compare to the toned down powers of his mother,some poorly conceived clone of the most FAN FUCKING-TASTIC mutant of them all, Jean Grey. But all in all, I think Cable should crawl in a hole and die, preferable shooting himself with his fancy little plasma pistol.
