Hello,

Ancient Macedonians worshipped the twelve Olympian gods, both collectively and individually, along with other cults, including semi-gods and persons from greek mythology (Heracles, Pluto, Persephone, Dionysos, Pan, Hestia, Asklepios, Mouses, Okeanos, etc) and a small number of native deities originating from neighbouring places (ie the Hero-hunter from Thrace, Darrhon etc). Most of these deities had the familiar Greek epithets found widely in the greek world (Alkidemos Athena, Hypsistos Zeus, etc)

The sunburst was used in the mediterranean world long before ancient Macedonians adopted it. I wouldnt bet it was solely a symbol of the royal macedonian dynasty since it has been also found in other macedonian tombs. (Lyson & Callicles, etc)
