Whether you assume Hephaistion/Alexander or Alexander/Hephaistion (and that depends on what you think they believed about Achilles/Patroklos, when the Classical distinction was even less likely to apply) ... I don't recall reading about Hephaistion ever being the beloved of someone else.
What do you mean by 'a prince wouldn't have one'? - within a social class, you can have both parts of the relationship. If you assume erastes/eromenos, you assume stratification by age, not by social class.
