I got a job offer from clinique...IN CHARLOTTE. Dammit, why couldn't it be Winston? I'm applying for a job at Dillards for their lingerie dept. Bad memories of Dillards (ex Chris used to work there) but it's a job... read on for my sob story.

So, where to begin?
Had a fun time in Boone on Friday. Met up with Chris and Brent and ate lunch at Hunan. Then Chris and I went on campus. I got to see the new library. It's REALLY nice. Then we went to ITC to see my old buddies. Troy and Angela got a divorce, that was a shocker! The crew from ITC went out to Portofino for some drinks, but some party had it rented out and there were little kids running around. We stayed anyway. Tom, Bob, Calvin, Joe, Ryan, Jennifer, Shelley, and Darian came out. It was good times. Got to see JJ and Craig, and got lucky on some stuff to bring home.
Saturday Ashley and I got up early and went to Roanoke. We stopped at Baby Depot on the way to Tabatha's and got the baby shower present. She loved the baby monitors and the clothes we got for Laura Grace (still not sure about the last name). The shower went well except Tab's friend Kelly, who threw the shower, showed her ass a bit. We ate at Macados that night. Sunday we went and exchanged some of the presents Tab got for better stuff. We left that afternoon and came back to Boone.
Now for the tragedy #1...we were coming up the mountain on 421 and my car started to resist me. We stopped and pulled over for a bit to let it cool off, even though it wasn't registering hot, and started again. It went for a good while and felt fine, but then going up the next hill before the parkway it didn't want to go at all. NO VA. Steam started pouring out so we thought it was the radiator...then we noticed the oil on the ground :( FUCK MY STUPID ENGINE. The garage that put it in is incompetent beyond belief. Chris came and sat with us until the tow came. So we got AAA to come tow us to Mack Brown Chev. They are supposed to get back to my dad today about what they think is wrong with it.
So I was stuck in Boone and couldn't go to work on Monday. But that's okay because Chris and I went to Hebron (from the Price Park Boone Fork loop trail) and it was a fun hike. Chris forgot his camera else we would have UNBELIEVABLE pics from there to share. DAMMIT CHRIS. LOL
Dustin came and rescued me Monday night, we went and ate at Black Cat. I actually got something different besides the Don't Be a Jerk! GASP.
Tragedy #2: because of being in Boone more than I thought and my horrible skills at keeping track of my bank account in my head, I overdrafted by like $10 in turn $60 of overdraft fees :( SO i have no car, no money, and I NEED A FULL TIME JOB. FUCK. It comes in threes...whats going to be Tragedy #3? I'm scared to imagine...I have horrible luck :(
