At least in Japan, they have actual replicas of the "Death Note" notebooks for sale -- I don't know how many kids use them in school, though! (It would be almost 'too cool for school', I think!!) It's a good series, anyway -- you should watch the first 2 or 3 episodes at least, to get a feel for the main characters (Light/Reito, Ryuk {the Death God} and L {the mysterious Interpol agent}), and then either continue on with it or maybe jump ahead to episode 11 and watch a few more from there.... (That is when the second Death Note user shows up!)

Mylene Farmer is pretty cool! I'm not sure if you caught the other video I posted from her, but that one is awesome as well....
