I wonder how long the Colbert Report can survive. The show is almost entirely a caricature of Bill O'Reilly on "The Factor" or whatever the hell he calls it. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But it's gotta be so hard stay in the character of "Colbert." Can Colbert stay relavent without stepping on Jon Stewart's toes? Will he keep asking

i remember thinking it would be tough for this 'character' to interview people, it will truly test the writers to have the character work in the interview part.
also, right now, it doesn't seem movie types have much a place there and i'd imagine it'd be rougher on the interviewee than the Daily Show...
i'll ride it for as long as i can though.
