There's nothing unusual about Forte stalking down the hallways. There IS something unusual about him clearly favoring one leg, the gash in the armor making it no mystery as to why, and nursing a huge slice through his chest armor. It doesn't seem to have taken out anything too vital, though his movements are somewhat stiff, and he's cursing under

It's a little unusual to see Zero stalking down the hallways. He's been here for nearly seven months now, and encounters with others are growing fewer and farther between, despite his constant wandering. He's still searching for an exit. He has nothing better to do for the most part, but when he spots the wounded robot, he figures his constant searching can be set aside for a few moments.

"You're hurt." It's delivered without condescension, though if Forte's demeanor is any indication, he'll somehow manage to perceive it in his voice nonetheless.

Indeed he does, giving an aggravated sigh as he turns to face the speaker.

"No shit, Sher-" But Forte's eyes widen a bit as he sees Zero, doing a quick double-take and once-over of the other robot. The armor and build are somewhat different, but there really isn't much denying who it is. "Oh, you've gotta be fucking kidding me!"

Yeah, that gash in his chest? It's got the telltale searing marks of a beam saber weapon, and the pattern of his wounds might just look rather familiar to Zero. After all, it was a tussle with a younger alternate of the guy that put Forte in this condition in the first place.

Zero's confused, but he's not going to let it show. "I'm not kidding. Your chest and leg seem to have gotten the worst of it."

Zero's missing the point too, but you can't really fault him for that. Sort of.

"...Did you get dumber along with girlier or something?" Despite his snappishness, Forte's in no mood for another conflict, despite how flat-out irritated all these Zeros are making him. "Screw off; I don't need your freakin' pity."

[He could always try knocking on that obvious door with the giant familiar skull set in the archway! Muffled but obvious Wagner flitters out from behind the door, along with... singing?]

Oh god no. An even more pained look crosses Forte's face as he notices the door, and the music, and the... singing. If you could call it that. And because he is OH SO MATURE, he takes a moment to dramatically mime gagging before shoving the door forcefully open with his good arm.

Screw knocking.

"HEY! Old man!"

[Is the old coot going deaf or something? he's got the music up so LOUD it could be used as a sonic cannon, caterwauling along in German and occasionally gesticulating wildly in time with the music. It's actually not Forte's yell or the pushing open of the door that gets his attention- rather, it's a blinky light on a console that he hrms?! at and then spins around quickly. Spotting his mangled creation limping through the doorway, he snorts, reaches to turn down the music, and moves toward Forte, picking up a wrench along the way.]

Hah! Forte! You come crawling back to me when you need something! Typical!

[On the table is what looks like a half-finished construction. However, there's a sheet covering it up, so who knows what's taking shape underneath?]

Same old Wily, all right. Forte fixes an irritated scowl on his creator, ignoring the covered shape on the table as he drags himself stomps into the room as best he can on an injured leg. Probably another dumb robot master anyway - Cheese Man or something, who knows. They just keep getting stupider in Forte's opinion, after all.

"Tch, shut it! You've only got yourself to blame for this one, you old coot."

yeah, it's retconned in before the repair thread SO SUE ME.

[o-oh my gosh. That cursing sounds familiar... and Rock hasn't seen anyone in ages lately! It's been so lonely...]

F-Forte? Is that you?

[here's Forte's mortal enemy sprinting toward him with a concerned look!]

What happened?!

FINE BY ME! \o/ ♥

Oh hell, not THAT voice. ANYTHING but that voice. Forte snaps his head around, glaring daggers at Rock.

"None of your stupid business! Get outta my way, shrimp!" He's not even quite together enough to jab a buster threateningly at Rock, instead gripping his wound a bit tighter and refusing to wince when that only prompts some more sparks.

[Nuh-uh, Forte. Nuh-uh! The bioroid just isn't going to give up like that just because you snap at him! He presses closer, eyes wide and ignoring the Wilybot's protests.]

We've fought together lots in the past... please! Let me help! I'm sure I can do something...

[Whether Forte LETS him or not, Rock will move over and try to help prop Forte up, putting a hand on his shoulder.]

You shouldn't even be moving...

"Oh, SURE. 'We've fought together lots in the past, Forte!' Because that makes us best buddies." The sarcasm, are you drowning in it yet? Forte all but snarls, twisting stubbornly away from Rock's helping hand.

"I don't need your help! I can fix it up myself! Now buzz off!" Really, the fact that Rock is showing such honest sympathy is only succeeding in getting Forte exponentially more pissed-off.
