re e) i really really really like seattle. i'm from around here (grew up ~40 minutes south) but the atmosphere is much different. lots of hipsters and indie nerds and hippies and ... i guess just a self aware, interesting, ridiculously mixed crowd.

i mean there are still crazy people, the bus system kind of sucks, it's expensive and it's never hot here, but overall it's just ... nicely relaxed and there's a lot to do in this general area (shows, hiking, going up to canada!!! things like that)
