well what may work best is if you could share the codes to your lj imagemap and maybe my nerd team can compare and spot what we did wrong because mine shows up in my test page only in IE but not firefox, since you havn't used firefox, I wont ask you to do something extraordinary... just to be able to see your overrides and compare them to mine..
