I think that you're thinking right on track, actually. I've decided to take some time away from boys, too, or just any mentality associated with pursuing a serious relationship, because, you're right. It's very taxing and hard and takes a lot of energy. I think it's definitely wise to get a handle on other things in your life first, become as secure as possible, and then move on to build a mature, loving relationship.

In the mean time, though, don't forget to have some fun! Not all dating has to be serious; although, I have yet to experience how that works, lol. Maybe I'll try to go on a few fun dates every now and again... that is, if I can loosen up enough to get out there and do that, and I think I'm capable, and I know you're capable too!
