Appar ently Bush vetoed a bill in congress meant to recognize the Armenian genocide during world war I as a genocide.  The reasoning....Turkey is a major ally in the "war on terror" and he doesn't want to piss them off.  It's lame, but I have to wonder if the bill was presented in the first place knowing Bush would veto it and look like a dumbass ( Read more... )

So, game ended early on account of someone not feeling well.  Also, my character kind of died.  She probably saved the rest of the party in doing so, and they don't have to pay to resurrect her as I am making a new character.  This is going to be my first fighter, so any suggestions are welcome (as usual).

Teaching  went really well today.   I set up the tables the way I've had them in the past, as one long table, and not a square.  That works much better because I can see everyone with one glance.  I also had a lot of things planned for today.  They take longer to do art projects than I thought they would, which is fine, because art is a nice way to ( Read more... )
