We're in China right now. I spent the morning eating my oatmeal standing up, looking out the window. There's too much to look at here to sit down for very long ( Read more... )

Because they're awful and we do not want you to die! Shopping is just the better thing to do. Even if I'm going to live in a poor house, at least I'll have great clothes to wear while I'm there.

It's like that when you're on a set too, at least for me you get lost in it all - especailly if you're on location, away from home.

I thought that flower was a nipple in your icon.

Almost everything I've filmed I've been fairly close to home, so I've never really been able to get the chance to be lost on set. Only for hours at a time before it's time to quit for the day, then I'm right back to being down to earth.

Hahaha, oh my god! I don't know if I'd ever be comfortable with having an icon where I'm flashing people.

Brian was telling me about how great China was the other night and I was just so envious, but wow, I really couldn't imagine seeing any place like that.

It's just really insanely beautiful, I've actually taken more pictures here than anywhere else we've been so far. You should definitely try to make an excuse to go sometime, you won't be disappointed at all.

Oh the glamorous life of touring! I've traveled most of my life, and I'm not complaining, but it's not what people think it is either. I can understand why it's romanticized by some, bothersome and tedious for others, but I can see the good and the bad. Do it all the time, you get burnt out, that's why breaks are needed every now and again.

Have you been to China before?

Yeah, I can totally see how the burn out happens. I don't know how they do it without much time off in between shows. But Nick says he's used to it and he really does have his sleeping patterns down, so I guess I believe he knows what he's doing! It's fun though, it's like nothing else I've ever experienced.

I never have! This is my first time so it's all really new, I'm a little in love with it right now.

You know, I don't comment very much but I think what the two of you have is kind of amazing. This was great to read.
