Okay, so, the tattoo artist I made the appointment with stood me up. Fuck her. I'm so dissapointed. I need to go to someone else now, possibly Joel's friend in Portland. Ugh.

Maybe it's for the best. You don't want a half-assed job from a half-assed artist. That happened to me once and I had to wait another 2 years before I finally got the tat. It ended up being a good decision and that is still my favourite tattoo.
