I must say I thought it was rather peculiar seeing people milling about with rubber gloves on, but I finally understood the method to that madness. At any rate, it's over now, so there isn't much to be worried about.

A little shock every now and then wouldn't kill anyone would it?

Of course it won't kill anyone! I luckily wasn't affected, but it was sort of fun to watch people get all huffy about it.

How fortunate for you. One would think that after being here for a while, people would become accustomed to being cursed for a 24 hour period.
