oh man, we had finals on saturday for one semester because of something... i don't remember why, but anyway. the really nice thing about university is that you can retake things and though it does take more time, but it's always nice to know that you do have another option rather than be stuck with failing a class. i think the pacing of the classes is the hardest thing to adjust to, at least it was for me. and most high schools do not really do much in the way of preparing you for university classes. though if a professor actually cares about what they're doing they should be able to help you out in some way, whether it's answering your questions themselves or directing you to a tutor or something, idk. (i'm really sorry that i've been so absent from the internet and that i can only talk with you about this now augh ;___;)
good luck with your classes and on the final exams!!

Maybe they gave finals on a Saturday for us since the math finals are really long? Well, my other ones are only 1-2 hours while calculus is like 3 whole hours. Anyways, yes high school definitely didn't prepare me for the fast-paced classes in universities. And since I didn't how the system worked, I thought I could survive that class without ever thinking about dropping it but /sigh I was stupid and just let the deadline for those pass by...;w; but now I know what to do when I don't think I can survive a class? (it's okay!! I know your internet was funky and you were probably much busier than I am and I now know how time-consuming your classwork can be...8'D)
Thank you!! I wish you the same!!

oh wow, that is a long exam. calculus... that is something i can say i have never encountered, so for you to even be taking a class like that is really kind of amazing to me. math is my worst subject ever i think that high school should really try and prepare students a little more, because it's almost kind of unfair to just throw people into that kind of fast-paced thing. that's alright! yes, you can usually always drop early in the semester, or (this might be different at your university) you can often change the grading option to a pass/fail so you don't get a letter/number grade for it and then you can re-take it later to help your gpa. (but still i feel like i should have been here and jgsdlk;gsd ;____; i will be here from now on though, so please ask me any questions you need - if you still have any)
thank youuu! i hope the winter break comes soon for both of us XD

Oh okay, so it is an unusually long exam. Calculus seemed too hard for me in high school so I'm taking it for the first time here but it's A BEAST. It's probably my professor who likes to troll us with extremely hard quiz/test problems since math used to be my best subject OTL. And many people are suffering like me...Oh yes, we can drop a class in the first 2 weeks of classes or something and there was some other time where we can change to satisfactory/non-satisfactory grading but of course, I was overconfident and didn't think I needed to change it.../SIGH (Well, I did miss you, but now you're here so you can help me when I need you! so thank you so much!)
I hope so too! Oh! btw I want to exchange Christmas cards with you again!

Having a final on a weekend sounds dreadful like not how you'd want to spend a Saturday =A=;; Good luck with calculus! You can get that 2.0 (or higher)!!
