my faith in zeroes and ones

i saw a shooting star on the way home from the Y tonight. it was nice, except i was a little scared at first--it was really big and looked more like a plane on fire. i am pretty sure i would know by now if it was something awful. in other news, school is almost over.

remember when you saw the red moon and thought it was the apocalypse...

and on new years before the shik/ex reunion when we walked out to the hill without watches and looked up at the stars.

yes, yes i do. and i don't think that we will even be looking at the same stars next year, which is a little sad. they say that the southern cross is pretty sweet. when i was on that retreat, christy taught me how to find some constellations. now i feel like a better camp counselor.

i must say, ive never really made it past the big dipper.. and apperently i've been looking at the "wrong" little dipper my whole life. I guess i made up my own constellation. And on a good day i can find oriens belt- but thats about it.
libby- southern hemisphere stars are even better than ours. We need to talk. im really excited for you!

you should work on locating the little dipper cause word on the street is that that is one of the cilt requirements---in addition to "observing an anthill for a week" and "bird watching"...
