christmas was nice. it was good to see all of my family and to play board games with clayton. i took a nap on the couch and my cuddliest cousin climbed onto my back. which was nice. except that i wasn't megan and instead a lion so he got chased and it was scary. yeah. later on aidan (same cousin) had an allergic reaction and i was afraid he was

i always think about that woman who died a few years ago in her driveway. yeah.

during breakfast on christmas, our neighbor started hemoraging (sp?) and she called our house cause i guess last time the ambulance took half an hour. my dad and mom went over there, but we couldn't find her key and no one was answering the door. my brothers put on their boots and went outside too--Laurie said Peter's reason for going was so he could get out and do something interesting to shake things up by maybe going to the hospital, while matt went out so he could break down the door with his brute strength. i thought that was funny because it is very much like their personalities right now. in the end, neither was necessary. our neighbor opened the door because it turns out that her partner was inside with her. (her partner is from switzerland and she can't drive). well, my mom, my dad, and the two of them drove away, leaving us to soberly clean up the kitchen. kinda crazy morning.
i'm glad we have neighbors like that who feel ok about calling us for help.
