violet rain

We are having a thunderstorm. For some reason I associate them very strongly with summer and with camp and so it seems weird to be having one now, in November. The lightening is really beautiful and a bright white. It is cool because it is far away and so somehow with each streak it lights up the sky so you can see the silhouette of everything

finally back on, i guess.
yeah, the thunderstorm made me think of camp too. i was at williams and it started hailing and lots of thunder. i tried to explain how thunderstorms were such a big deal at camp to the person i was walking with, but to no avail.
