Yeah. They only take one painting student a year, so it's HIGHLY competitive. And apparently the people that I'm up against are super talented too. Chris has told me that what's going to determine their decision is how well each applicant meshes with the faculty and students during the interviews. Which, I can understand. I wouldn't want to take on the most talented student in the world, if they had a lowsy personality.
And the program lasts for three years. It's like choosing a new son or daughter to be a part of your family.
Of course, the same applies at my end too. Even if they have the greatest program in the world, I don't want to go there if they don't click for me. But if there is clickage, you'd better believe I'm all over that.
Oh. And the program specifically is the 3-year Masters of Fine Arts Painting program.
