I had my first appointment with my obstetrician today. i had met with her NP, but this was my first time meeting her, and I can see why she was recommended to me. She was telling me that the doctors in her practice tend to attract certain patient "types" - like one of the guys has a lot of doctors for patients who tend to be very high-maintenance

This whole process is a lot more stressful than I thought it would be.

Only you would say that about pregnancy! :D

I bet they'll work with you if you tell them you want to try to go without the epidural. Most places do

I was so happy for you guys when I heard the news. I agree with tinuviellen...moderation is everything. I had iced tea just about every morning..and stayed away from caffeine the rest of the day (sometimes didn't though). I did a wine tasting (one sip of each) when Jason and I drove through wine country on the way to Toronto, used deoderant every day ;), etc. Right now I have a perfect baby girl lying in my lap.

I felt the same way you did with all the appts etc...even though I didn't do an organic pregnancy. All I know is that even though I am not sure I would want to do it again...she is worth it all.

PS...enjoy the ultrasound!!
