A Play Again

Karen gave me a writing journal for my birthday, and I have been dutifully trying to write in it at least once every couple of days. It must be getting everything I would think of writing here, hence my lack of posts. Come January, I join her, and a few other ladies in an artisan journey of sorts. Do you record the lines to practice them?

The chapter gathering sounds like something that will be good for you ( I paused looking for the write word there- good? Enjoyable? Will feed you? -- seems like all that. )

Writing and journaling. It does seem like an old fashioned thing to write with a pen. But I know my relationship to keyboards and pens are not identical. Close but not the same. I begrudge the non- searchable quality of pen written text, even while I know that it "feels" good to slide ink onto a page.

We didn't do the recording of the lines this time. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. When I direct I wait until the actors request it, I guess no one requested it this time of Tracy.
At this point it is all about repetition for me anyway.

this Friday, the 15th and Saturday the 16th, dinner at 6:30, show at 7:30. Meeting Place and I even have a number...I know they do credit cards....918-426-6416. Or, you could confirm that you can buy a ticket at the door. The restaurant ladies would know that better than I do. They are always gone when we go to rehearsal. I think you two would enjoy!

I'm sorry that Chuck and I didn't make it to see your play. I really wanted to come, but it didn't work out. Chuck's work interfered on Friday, and then he had to run the Northkeep Ensign rapier tourney on Saturday, and of course it ran late, because they always run late. Well, anyway, I just wanted to know that I'm regretful about missing out, I'm still interested, and I'd still like to know if there's another opportunity to see a play of yours in the future.
