Mother Stephanie

Mother Stephanie works herself to sick often. Usually once a year, often right after Lent. She gets physically worn to a frazzle and continues on long after. So, she'll schedule a vacation and spend part of that time recovering from illness. She actually started early this year. She directed the valentine dinner theatre with the community theatre. So sorry to hear she is ill, but I totally see that, flying around in the invisible plane would be a little breezy and make you susceptible to catching chills.

Shingles! Yikes! Internal! Yikes!

However, if there is a place to be sick- All Saints is such a loving, supportive community. I'm glad she has you all. I'll add her to my prayer list.

She's a lovely person, and I'm sorry to hear that she's been having health problems. I'll hold good thoughts for her.

On a completely different subject, I didn't go to Gulf Wars this year, but Chuck did. He brought the rubber ducks with the idea in mind of flinging them from the trebuchet from inside the castle. Unfortunately, rain was threatening as the Castle Battle was approaching, so the battle was not well-attended in either combatants or spectators, and did not last very long. Chuck had flung some ducks, and he said they flew beautifully. There were none left on the field when he went to pick up ammo, so presumably they had been picked up. But Chuck had some left over at the end of the battle. As it happened, he was camping near a woman who happens to be crazy about rubber ducks, so he wound up flinging the rest at her, one at a time, and she was delighted, and took them home with her. I just wanted to let you know that some of your ducks did indeed get to fly, and hope that you're pleased that they all seem to have found homes.

Yay! I am indeed glad all the ducks had a romping good time. I have finally eradicated the infestation from my bathroom. Although I have kept a few duck, four total, they do not live on display, and are never stored together in case of accidental reproduction. Thanks for you help. :)
