I have been playing my song out loud to more and more people this week. Two reasons, one I am really happy with it and want to show off, 2, because I need to play in front of people more often. Yes, the wampum (purple and white shells) always reminds me of Alice Walker's quote from her book- "I think it just pisses God off when people walk by the color purple in a field and don't notice it."
