Fabulous ride, gas hog or not...and besides, if push comes to shove and you can't afford it, you can get a good price out of it and buy something better suited to you.

Yeah... the thing with my parents "gifts" is that they default back to them... the Kia is now theirs, which they will sell to put toward the cost of the mountaineer (which they just paid off -- they got a home equity loan to pay for the remodel, and got enough extra to pay off their cars so they will have one payment for everything)

So if I decide I want to get something better suited to me, I would have to clear it with them and work out the details. Which can be frustrating, but still... who am I to complain? It *is* a fabulous ride... green leather interior and all. ;)
