Okay, so I posted about that barebones system yesterday... and I kept hesitating on actually purchasing it... I woke up today and still really wanted it, but I decided to look around a little more first.

I'd go with the barebones and get an OS...the sempron processors have a smaller L2 cache onboard, so they go a bit slower in terms of the pipeline of data that can be processed. Since you want to play games like WOW etc, you'll want the extra cache. Also, my experience with emachines is that they aren't terribly well made in terms of their peripherals/components, and they like to fail and do weird stuff on you.

Ya, that's what I've been hearing... so barebones it is... and bootleg windows xp until I can figure out something better.. lol.
