I have been very lazy about posting anything on livejournal, but you are exactly correct about the trials of political postings on FaceBook. I learned that different people in my extended family have _very_ different views of the world than I do.

I will continue to use LJ too. Facebook is more micro-blogging and networking. LJ is a better space for journal writing.

Though, I refuse to "friend" co-workers. Just not gonna happen.

I've also been lazy about LJ, but will continue to use it. As was said, FB is good for short bits of communication, like "Made it home" or "Getting groceries". LJ is great for more details and stuff you don't want to share with everyone.
