I agree with what you said.. and I know this was a serious post.. but I seriously LOL'ed when I read this.. "I told him I'd also become a republican if he did, and he seemed excited about that."

But I know how you feel... anyone growing up with my family/extended family wouldn't get married if it was the last thing on earth...

Haha I'm definitely on that side. It's too crazy and complicated for me to want to put up with forever.

I will never join the dark side. Darth Vadar is on that side. I will not lable myself politically. I'll just go with liberal. There. Our political discussion for the year is done.
