I just received this in my myspace inbox... I dont know where to even begin.

i dont think meat is neccesarily murder, because we need to eat meat to survive... if it was that bad then cats and dogs and all other forms of animals would be made to stop eating meat too, and eventually all the population stuff would go mental and everyone would die.

That person is a complete idiot, and has clearly never been around animals if s/he thinks they have no self-awareness or personality.

Maybe I'm being too harsh. At least s/he seems to sort of recognize the evils of factory farming, but does s/he really think humans can't physically survive without meat? I grew up learning from my mom how to combine ingredients to make complete proteins, but even if I didn't have that experience I'm sure I would've picked that knowledge up in school when they taught us about the food pyramid (or rather the four food groups back in my day).

Of course, the person who wrote that is probably like 13 years old, so maybe s/he hasn't covered that chapter yet in health class.

Yeah, i didnt know if i should even bother writing back and trying to explain or if it just wasnt worth the time. It amazes me how some people think that way.

You can't make everyone a vegetarian any more than a omnivore can make you one of them.

No one is entitled to a holier than thou attitude, whatever works or whomever is what gets them through life.

Cruelty Free is the only way for me - eventhough, I have yet to find a bug spray that isn't evil NAZI oriented products nor a good scrubbing compound for the build up in the shower and potty. Stupid calcium and sulfur.

Of course in my perfect world everyone would be vegetarian/vegan. Though its not going to be like that anytime soon, i would at least think some people understand what theyre eating, and where it comes from. arg!
