Oh! I can relate to a name change of a college pissing people off, even if I can't relate to them changing the courses offered there. The branch of Penn State that I went to and loved recently became "Penn State Brandywine" instead of "Penn State Delaware County" or "Penn State Delco" for short. I don't think that would have bothered me so much except for the fact that it's a change and not the name of the college I adored (I think the reason they changed it was because of stupid people- people kept getting confused between PSU-Delco and "Delaware County Community College", never mind that one was a state college and the other a community one- the morons who got it wrong must have been the type to attend a community college, which here is for people who generally can't make it into better colleges). So yeah, I got annoyed because they only changed it because of stupid people, and it's even more stupid because the Brandywine river and Brandywine Valley aren't even anywhere friggin nearby. What if they build a PSU branch closer to the
