I actually did not really like What to Expect... It is very strict and preachy at times. There are good things about it, but also some bad. I did like their What to Expect the First year book though. Honestly I went like 3 times to the bookstore and never found a book I wanted to spend $30 on! I signed up for online updates from Babycenter to learn about the development.... but just read around for things like what you can and can't eat, exercises, positions to sleep etc. and used my own comfort level to make decisions.

I have 'what to expect the first year' which is good, but probably better for after the baby is born. During pregnancy, I read "Your Pregnancy, Week by Week" and also signed up for the www.babycenter.com weekly newsletter.
