Ryan did NOT get the job at Toyota, it was a fakeout. He has an interview at Dell on Monday though...cross your fingers.

So hopefully he will have money to throw towards rent, bills, CABLE, etc. soon. :-) Now we just have to figure out how he'll get to work every day...

My family is evacuating Houston today; I think they're coming to Austin, but I don't know if they have a hotel yet...and if they don't there's no way they can find one on ACL weekend. So we were talking about evolution v. creationism and dinosaurs yesterday, and guess what they were talking about on Air America this morning? Apparently the creationists' argument that dinosaurs are in the Bible comes from a passage involving a Hebrew word that means "monster" or something...and it comes out of a staff...?
