Hubby says today we had the adventures of Captain Trytophan and his sidekick, Sated Lady. We certainly did. Even though we attended a modest buffet, and we both tried to be sensible about eating--only one dessert!--we both experienced turkey-induced coma-like symptoms when we got home. We got back from our T-Day dinner about 30 to 45 minutes ago. Hubby just laid down for his post-turkey nap right after I read your post. Had to share the coincidence. LOL

Edit: Where did you go for the buffet?

I dunno. If everyone's eating turkey and other quantities of food and driving around and not having to do anything else, maybe it's not such a coincidence that naps happen.

We went to Keagan's. It's close, reasonabl priced, and has a bountiful supply of food without having an overwhelming assortment to choose from. Along with turkey, I tried roast pok with apple marmalade (a little on the sweet side) and flounder florentine (spinach was surprisingly creamy). Did you guys go to that hotel you usually go to?
