The 1st years (12-13 year olds) were telling me improbable news stories to see would I believe them. I was having none of it. Then one of them turns to another of them and says the immortal line: "Do you know if you say the word chicken realllly slowly in sounds like gullible?"

Genius. Total Genius!

what I'd like to do the next time someone tries that kind of joke with me, or calls me gullible is pretend that I've never heard the word before and accuse them of making it up.
