ah, it seems a lot of people haven't, actaully. It was a straight to DVD release, I beleive....long story short, it's terrible 8D

ah~ it was so awful XD; Never have I encountered more hackneyed dialogue in my life. All my friends loved it when it came out though....though they were 13, so I doubt they knew any better XD

Ugh, I saw some of that too. I couldn't see much of a plot from the parts I saw but I figured I was in the wrong social group to be watching it. I wasn't emo. I thought if the movie was called 'Thirteen' because the main character was thirteen, good god, those directors don't know their teenagers! And what was with that pastely Band of Brothers-ish background?!

the plot was basically "Good girl goes to middle school and some slut makes fun of her shirt. The next day she becomes a slutty crackwhore and basically anything else that's 'bad' for teenagers"

It's.....awful. Teens just don't act like that. What really shocks me as that it gets critical acclim from almost everyone. Bah.
