As I was waiting for Sam (at the plaza where Applebee's is, right off of 84), first I took refuge in EB pretending to look at used movies, but they closed, so I went to Dunkin' Donuts. Just as they told me that they were closing, Sam got there. I felt really bad for another guy, who was waiting there. He was completely stranded (his wife, who was supposed to pick him up, was stuck in Newburgh). I have no idea what happened to him because everything in that area was closing (even Applebee's) and it will be at least a 3 mile walk to any sort of civilization (if Carmel can possibly live up to that moniker!
