So I have the "cold of death" that has been going around. This was very upsetting because it decided to settle in my chest just after work yesterday afternoon, causing me to miss the second night of auditions. Figuaring my body wanted some sleep, I did the usual, watched Futurama, then family guy... then clicked on the alarm clock and off to bed ( Read more... ) -
finally, some theatre
Well looks like I'll finally be getting back into the theatre, maybe that will lift my spirits, it's been so long since I've done stage work. What's best is after that it will almost be time for faire to start up again. And the prospects of doing faire a second year is looking good, very good in fact ( Read more... ) -

2 more days of pycho lines, cazy customers, and stressed out staff. Soon enough I will have a steady schedule (or at least as steady as it gets). I can't wait... I just want it to all calm down... I'm getting to tired for this... if I didn't like my job as much as I do this season would have had me quitting, just a note, holiday season is a horrid ( Read more... ) -

Wow... it's been a long time since I've been able to sit, and think, enough to type up something decent to say here... Ever since Faire I've been busting my ass off at Borders. I've added to my job, it seems. Not only am I a part of IPT (short for inventory process team) I also seem to have taken on the childrens section as my little pet. Much ( Read more... ) -

Today is my prep day for the last weekend of the beloved faire. Its hard to imagine that when I started this I wasnt sure I'd want to see it through to the end, boy did that change. Ok, so most of you know that I left the Waldenbooks store for the last time today. My job for the last 5 + years boxed up in 606 boxes, stacked neatly against the back wall. Of course after moving those 606 boxes to a truck for almost 2 hours (maybe more, I wasnt counting) my back hurts like you wouldn't believe. And though I will miss my little ( Read more... )
