So Chris and I went to go look at some free kittens today. It was an elderly couple who took in strays and neutered them and found homes for kittens and such... long haired cats are just a pain because if you don't brush them often, their hair gets matted and gross and has to be cut off. plus, they get dingleberries (or at least my old persian did). and they get hairballs from bathing themselves. they do shed less though, and are oh so fluffy and pretty. i hope your kitty comes back
