Oh man, the renaissance faire is doing themed weekends.

Is it bad that I want to go EVERY WEEKEND now? D:

On the plus side the weekend we're going is "High Seas Adventure" and I have the PERFECT corset for a pirate costume. ;)

I'm SO excited. I've been working on my bodice all this weekend. Can't I just wave my hands (in the air sometimes...) and it will magically be finished? Then again, I'm making this almost needlessly complicated, so I guess it's my fault. Meh. It'll look good when I'm done with it.

I've heard from reliable sources (as in, people who actually run the ren faire) that this is the last year under the current organizers. A bigger company will be running it, the same company, if I understood correctly, that runs the KC ren faire. So expect changes next year, and let's hope they don't change what's important.
