what's with the food?!

I've been having a lot of foodie dreams lately, which is odd because I *don't* cook. And lately I'm not even eating much - the few times I am actually hungry, a few bites is plenty to fill me up.

Definitely going to try the Brats and tomatillos with green tomatoes. Sounds extremely yummy.

I couldn't help but notice I wasn't at the picnic table with you. sigh... whimper. LOL

There was nobody I really knew there - some vague acquaintances in the background. For some reason I was stuck at this big county fair food tent or community dinner or something like that all alone.

It sometimes occurs to me, with a sort of astonishment, how lucky I am to have a hubby who is willing to try making the foodie ideas I come up with. And is an excellent chef who can actually make 'em work!

Lots of bright flavors in those meals (vinegar, citric acid, fruit juice, that sort of thing). I would guess you need vitamin c and something in vinegar.
Oh, and lots of fat: low on calories? Need something that is only fat soluble?

I've noticed my cravings / food dreams usually indicate a need.

Vitamin C feeds cancer so I don't do a lot of that - get my immune boosts from mushrooms - but I'm just starting with the apple cider vinegar mix.

I was thinking similar to nanassi, that the dreams are your body's way of saying feed me. Just because your stomach isn't listening doesn't mean your body isn't craving much needed energy. Try snacking, even a small bit, before each nap and night's sleep. Your body will have ample opportunity to use that energy to heal during those resting hours. :)

Big meals are a bad thing (when I lie down the bloat can cause reflux) but if I can get the amounts right a small snack might just do it :)
