The worst part is the mental weirdness.

First the raw CT scan facts and conventional treatment. There are 3 areas of cancer: abdomen, lungs, and liver. The ones in my abdomen and lungs are "very minor". The ones in my liver have multiplied and grown. Dr. Citrin is putting me on Sutent, which is a known treatment for other cancers and expected

I want to say something comforting and strengthening that lasts and makes sense and doesn't belittle the pressure, pain and sorrow you feel but doesn't jump straight to the bottom of the options list and woe! at you.

I'm praying that all the things that comfort you continue to wrap you in contentment whatever the outcome of the Sutent treatment... which I am also, of course, praying is a magic mortar shell.
