Color suggestions!

I'm looking for your advice on color. I noticed that I generally use the same basic color schemes on a lot of things, and would like to branch out. I'd like your help to experiment! I'm looking for a base color and 2 or 3 highlights.

SO, tell me... what are your favorite color combinations?

I'm partial to ochre-yellow on orange, try maybe some light blue highlights :O

it's fucking obnoxious, but they're my favourite colours, so I like purple and orange.
some others I'm fond of - black & white + pretty much any colour, I think this looks especially nice with any red, or bright yellow
I am also fond of brown & blue, I think this looks nicest with either lots of muted shades of blue with some brown accenting; or lots of browns with bright electric blue as highlights.
