That's the most heartwrenching thing I've ever read. I wouldn't be able to do that to my dog.

wow megan. That must be tough. Being an animal lover my self I am not sure that I could do that. I didnt think that I would be able to get ride of my 4-H animals after only spending less then a year with them. It was very hard and I would cry for days after I got ride of them knowning that they were going to be used for meat. It gets easier as time goes on. I know how close you and your dog are. I rememeber you telling you stories with her. I rememeber you being so excited when you first got her as a puppy. But just keep in mind you will alway have the memories of her and you will meet many other best friends in the future.

Dont give up stay strong and go after you dreams.

Thats such a sad story, I'm really sorry. All I could think about was my dog and how much I love her. I know it must be so hard to decide, but just think about her pain. You don't want her to suffer, and this way she could go in peace while her best friend is holding her. Good Luck

I think the only luck I have is bad luck... Being a Veterinary Assistant, I know the whole speech about relieving pain and discomfort when attempting to console clients in the same situation. But when it's my best friend, its so much harder. In the end, I hope I make the right choice for her. Thanks for all the support.
