I'd ask 'Why' - but - I already know that it's the type who want to be recognised for their obscene level Nero character even more.

For a second there, I thought the point of playing was to enjoy yourself - but - I guess some people want more recognition.

I believe it is a joke... as the sight lists NERO, and I can't see the founder of NERO participating in such an event.

This ain't the founder of NERO, though...Joseph Valenti is the owner of NERO International...I agree that I can't imagine Ventrella being into this sort of ego-stroking (some other kinds, but not that kind), but in my experience a large percentage of Int'l is all about the high-level characters and penis-waving.

The idea of this makes my soul hurt, though, I am praying this is a joke.
