I need to save the below link for myself for future research about my dreamscape for Thea's pocket shrine.

In other news, I think my totem animal is a squid.  I am not saying that without thought.  There was a very personal dream I had a long time ago that leads me to believe it is so (which I thought I posted to LJ but can‘t find now).  Keep in ( Read more... )

I remember you telling me about the dream with the squid, that was some vividly intense stuff.

Personally I always figured my spirit animal was a falcon. I hope that doesn't qualify me to join the realm of the angsty and consumed?

Hyenas are cooler than wolves anyway.

While I love hyenas, I don't think I am one. I am not...herm...hard to put my finger on it. Though, after more musing I think of squid more as a guardian animal than a totem animal. So maybe I am still totemless.

Back when I decided Raven was my "totem", along with Ferret I should add, I didn't know anyone who gave a damn about Ravens. Must have been a southwestern bias against Ravens, I don't know. Everyone out there had things for wolves, and cats were super popular, and faeries (though they weren't really totems). I felt pretty down with the wise trickster. Raven and Ferret get along pretty well too. So, I hooked up with Raven back when it wasn't cool to do so, hence, I feel no compulsion to drop Raven just because he's become trendy. I still have Ferret to help out my "Pagan Street Cred".

*snicker* Keep on keeping on with raven hon. It is dangerous to make sweeping generalizations as I did above. To be honest I do not see you as a Raven at all. But that is just me. If you resonate with it don’t change just because it is trendy.
