thank you!

i've read the novel before (i forgot where i did downloaded it), overall is pretty meh for me. the story is kinda flat (or rather poor?) and need no brainer to see where the ending goes.

pretty illustration nonetheless :)

I kinda liked this one. Not the ultimate best yaoi novel I've read but this is entertaining. Lighthearted and not mushy. The seme's not your typical seme and same goes for the uke. It's just weird though-Viscount Akihiro Sanders Tomoe- a half-Japanese half-British aristocrat vampire who runs a host club... what the!?....Guess this adds to the entertainment factor

Well...I'm not very fond of too much fluff...and then coming from a vampire/inugami story makes it even harder for me to take seriously. xD It was definitely enjoyable (as it did manage to make me burst out laughing on several occasion), but it definitely wasn't worth the $30 I spent to get my hands on it.

I would've liked it if they had done more with the host club that Akihiro ran. I just kinda felt like there was no real problem in the story that had to be resolved or there were so many small ones that a "main" one wasn't there.

I find that I'm liking fluff more these days. The best fluff I've read so far is Little Darling. The story wasn't really well developed but that's the thing with short novels. I found it hilarious though.

What would be your most favorite BL novel?

Well, for all around "favorite"...it's currently a toss up between the S series by Aida Saki and the Cold series by Narise Konohara. My favorite fluff novel would be Green Light by Yura Tamaki or Eternal Love by Mizumi Takaoka (but I blame my obsession of Middle Eastern princes in yaoi for that). xD

I have a hardcopy of this at home.Although enjoyable, it was a bit too fluffy. There was no real conflict and the darker side of what it meant to be a vampire or an inugami weren't satisfactorily explored. It almost feels that despite some difficulties it's too easy to live as a vampire as long as you know what to do and keep your nose down (vampires don't seem to fight amongst themselves,no grabs for power,no intrigues, just lonely souls coming together). It didn't feel as though there was any true moral dilemma's to becoming a vampire. Also I kind of felt that the folklore professor should have met a harsher, darker end
