I can't believe I spent the whole day in front of the TV! I had ordered some "math courses" on DVD from The Teaching Company. Just in case I might end up teaching some math this coming school year, I wanted to see how some of the "country's best" teachers present stuff. That's certainly a LOT of math. ^_^;

I'm glad you got to go out dancing. Every time I see a dress in one of my pattern books, I keep wondering if it would make a good square dancing dress.

I hope you get to have lots of fun with Joseph!

To be perfectly honest, it was a lot of math. I would occasionally doze off. Then I'd have to go back and start that part over. It was still good. I just doze off easily when I sit still. It makes me wonder how students make it through the day.

Practically any full dress makes a great square dancing dress. The long full skirts work well, too. Sometimes they are called "prairie skirts." They're a bit more convenient because they don't require the petticoats. They're easier to pack, so a lot of people use them when they travel.

We had fun with Joseph. We didn't get to do the karaoke, though. We'll miss him when he comes home this week because we'll be up at niece Kristen's graduation party. But we'll see him the following weekend when he comes back for Christianne's birthday.

Practically any full dress makes a great square dancing dress.

I bought a couple books of the "Goth Lolita" style. It's kind of like Goth, except that the people aren't just dressing all in black, they're dressing to look like DOLLS dressed all in black. So there are lots of frilly skirts that make me think they would be great for dancing...if they weren't all black.

I also have a couple books on how to make Hawaiian dresses.

They sound wonderful! I've seen people dress in black at square dances, too.

Hawaiian dresses are beautiful, too. I'm almost forgetting the little bit I learned about the Hula dance. That was sooo much fun.
