Another Try at the Poem Thing

Ok, so guess what? I'm completely tired, bored, and hyper all at the same time. So what does that mean? It means it is update time! Since the bored-me wants to type and update, I'm doing it. Since the hyper-me wants to do something, you get to read it. Since the tired-me is, well, tired, it's nothing all that innovative or new. In fact, you' ( Read more... )

so I didn't exactly keep my promise not to use one of my own as a template... here's mine (notice it had a LOT more stanzas - so I did pick and choose). In case you didn't know, I picked the first and last stanzas for the template. Many of your poems had similar... vibes. :)

Jealous Lover

Come away, steal away,
I am calling you, My love.
Escape the charade, slip past the world,
and come away.

Come to Me, I call to you,
I am pulling you to Me, My love.
Follow the tides of your soul,
drawing you nearer to My own.

In all this world, in every corner
of this creation of Mine,
I've found no other that I love more,
none other that I'd rather call than you.

Cast out, throw out, let all pass away
that holds meaning in your eyes, My love.
All this world has naught for you,
naught save to bring you back to Me.

Leave the ties, drop the chains,
let loose those you hold to, My love.
Come away, come to Me,
I'm calling your name.

yes - you're right - read the beginning of my previous post. I was thinking of doing another poem just with the two stanzas, so if I have time, I will.

Beauty Beyond Fear

Pack fears away, doubts away,
I am calling for courage, for bravery of the heart.
Escape the whirlwind of life, slip unaware into the light,
and come breathe.

Leave the anxiety you carry, drop your burdens,
let wonder and curiosity bemuse those you fall from, wonder in amazement.
It's ok to go away; come to beauty beyond fear.
I'm the beauty, the one you, by intuition, know is here.
